Green Cardamom Pods have a strong, sweet flavour with a hint of citrus and mint. Cardamom is an important spice in Indian, North African and Middle Eastern cuisine. It is used to flavours stews, and in many spice blends, from curries to chai masala. The seeds can be cracked or ground for use in cooking, or the whole pods can be added to the pot and removed before serving. Two or three pods will be enough.
